Medipex NHS Innovation Awards & Showcase 2026 launched

The Medipex NHS Innovation Awards & Showcase 2026 is an opportunity to acknowledge and promote the achievements of NHS staff members and their collaborators who have developed innovative ideas to improve patient care across the NHS.  The competition is now open for NHS-led innovation and Industry-led entries from across the UK.

Entries will be accepted into the following 5 categories, including a New Industry-led category this year.

NHS-led categories

New - Industry-led category - Addressing Patient Safety Challenges

Entries must be led by an SME who can demonstrate some engagement with an NHS or social care organisation, and address an unmet patient safety need.

The closing date for entries is Tuesday 14th April 2026 and full details on how to enter can be found on our awards website https://www.medipexawards.co.uk/how-to-enter/.  This year we are offering entrants the opportunity to submit a video as part of their application form, outlining the problem that they are trying to solve and the proposed benefits, as an alternative to our standard entry form.

Save the Date! The Medipex NHS Innovation Awards & Showcase 2026 will take place online on Wednesday, 24th June 2026.

The Awards event is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible people working in the NHS who go above and beyond to identify what could be improved in patient care and find ways to make treatments and care pathways better, to showcase all their hard work, to say ‘we see you and what you are working to achieve’ and act as an inspiration to others to have the confidence to innovate and make a difference as well.
