Chronic pain management with Elyfia, a human/AI health coaching app

The clinical need

In the UK, 34% of people suffer from chronic pain. Long term use of pain killers is ineffective, yet NHS service provision of non-pharmacological interventions such as health coaching is limited and variable. Elyfia offers an alternative solution: a combined human/AI health coaching app where people can receive personalised advice at a time and location to suit them.

Medipex also investigated the use of digital technology, reviewed existing health coaching based interventions and M.A.R.S modelled the financial impact for the NHS from the routine introduction of Elyfia.
